PAT Finder app for iPhone and iPad

This app is a minimalistic & utilitarian interface to Pittsburgh / Allegheny County’s Port Authority Transit Real-Time bus GPS location feed.

Select a route, and if any busses on the route are on Real-Time / GPS, youll see their location.

Bus location status on the map will refresh every 30 seconds without any interaction on your part after you make a route selection. Tap a bus for more info on the particular bus and youll get the bus ID number, destination, speed, delay info, and pending arrivals for up to the next 10 stops on the route if available from the PAT data feed. If your bus status info window closes while youre looking at it, its being updated with new arrival times. Tap the bus again for new arrival time updates.

Not all busses are hooked up with the Real-Time feed. As an independent developer, the data that PAT provides regarding individual bus location is beyond my control. Please refer to the official PAT Schedule for expected arrival times at your stop.
